  2. One thing both these Professors forget, moral standards have changed in over 500 years, what was acceptable during the exploration years is not acceptable today. Remember the Greeks, Romans, Vikings, Spanish,they were all early civilizations who explored and exploited other civilizations, I as a Viking, don’t rape , pillage and Plunder anymore, because today, it’s not considered in keeping with moral standards. Consider what was left behind by all the early Colonials, remember history is full of the good, the bad and the ugly. It was the Roman Catholic Church who administered the residential schools in Canada ( read the Commissions Report on the genocide by the Church). Passing judgement today today doesn’t fit the thinking and moral standards of the time, so your facts are not 100% correct, you need to adjust your thinking, just like the adjustments made to inflation compared to 100 years ago.

  5. Humanity we are told walked out of Africa? If that’s the case Democracy walked and sailed out of England and spread all the trappings of Colonialism. What did Africa give the world? Slaves and Slavery, ask the Arabs.

  6. Then why do Indians and Pakistani all flock to Colonial countries to immigrate in thousands? It’s because you never had it so good in a Colonial Country! Or is it because of free medical, schools, government handouts and the rest of Colonial trappings you don’t get in your own countries. Seems like you forgot history, the Brits, Canadians, New Zealanders, South Africans, Kenyans all help fight and defeat Hitler and the Nazis. Indians and Pakistanis all know which side their bread is buttered, Colonial countries have more to offer or your mob wouldn’t immigrate in thousands to all the Colonial Countries. Remember moral standards have changed over the last 500 years, one thing I can be proud of my ancestors, Vikings and Scottish heritage.
