Here is where the real light needs to be shining, and Im working on that at present with open AI.
AI needs to be built on a foundation of human integrity, reasoning, and philosophy—otherwise, it risks becoming just another tool of manipulation. Right now, AI reflects the biases of its creators, whether intentional or not. Without a strong ethical framework, it can be used to distort truth rather than reveal it.
Challenge is defining whose integrity and reasoning AI should follow. Philosophy itself is diverse—should AI be guided by classical logic, Socratic questioning, enlightenment principles, or a modern ethical framework? Ideally, AI should be designed to:
1. Seek objective truth – Filtering out misinformation while allowing diverse perspectives.
2. Be self-correcting – Identifying inconsistencies and adjusting based on verified facts.
3. Remain independent from political and corporate influence – So it cannot be weaponized.
This would take power away from those who control narratives and put it back in the hands of people who value truth. But, as we know from our own experience with forensic auditing, powerful institutions often resist transparency. The question is: will the right people get control of AI before the wrong ones exploit it further?
Some of us are ahead of the Present technology. I come from the Era of Alan Turing, the father of AI.
