  1. Maybe after this the Gaza Strip will be peaceful for a couple of years. Ever since I started learning History over 60 years ago, the Middle East has been a pain on Humanity, go study Middle East Wars . Israeli forces and various Arab forces, most notably in 1948–49, 1956, 1967, 1973, 1982, and 2006. The Roman Empire conquered the region and in 6 CE established the province known as Judaea, then in 132 CE in the period of the Bar Kokhba revolt the province was expanded and renamed Syria Palaestina. Prior to that there was no such place as Palestine, the area was called Judaea.
