Let me explain, $1 Canadian = 0.691 USD, there is 30% right there, are you with me?, Trump should put 30% tariffs on, Canadian goods. If you dont understand the Logic let’s make it simple so everyone can understand. When I go to the USA I pay 30% more for everything because of the exchange rate, when I come back to Canada, I get 30% less for my USA dollar. Canada is not on a level playing field, Trump is making the playing field level, China is even worse. As a Canadian who lives and works both in Canada and the USA, and other countries around the world, I get it. Some countries deliberately devalue their currencies to make their goods cheaper to export. Alternatively adopt the US dollar, simple.
