I liven in Logan Lake, one doctor, 2 weeks for an appointment. I had an emergency Friday, drove to Kamloops Hospital and went to emergency, Reception said because of the nurses and staff shortage it will be a while. I was in and out in Two hours, the Nurses and Staff are Doctors are doing their best to cope, the NDP government has not addressed the Health System before or during the Corvid problem. To add to patients problems , to park in emergency is going to cost you at least $6 starting in March. So you pay for Medical and you pay for parking in emergency, the Carpark is on Hospital grounds.
Horgan is morally bankrupt as per all socialists governments. They love to borrow other peoples money. Yours.
Our Seniors have decided we won’t use Logan Lake clinic, we will go to Kamloops General Hospital as we will get immediate attention, and access to equipment without a 5 week wait.
The Doctor Situation is so bad in BC the average appointment is 3 weeks to see a doctor. I haven’t seen a doctor in 2 years, it’s all by phone, and I am a quadruple heart bypass patient. That’s the extent of health care in BC.
