I came from using Mainframe Computers in 1978 that filled a room, that took 30 minutes to do some calculations, to today with a small box on my desk with an M2 Chip which ca do the same calculation in a blink of an eye. I never take modern technology for granted. The speed of progress doubles.

@battery_wattage I try and keep away from iPhones, I’m retired and only use them for emergency use and navigation. Most of the time it’s switched off.

considering Elon is not a Rocket Engineer, I love his Star Link satellite system, very fast and works in the middle of nowhere in Canada. We are all ditching our Traditional Systems in BC Canada for Starlink, 3 people sharing brings the cost down and no slowdown in speed.

@sinenomine4540 come over to my house and I will make you a believer. Our remote Construction Company has already switched all Network in Field offices to Starlink in BC. My Son has Starlink on his Pickup, never misses a conference call on the roads in BC Canada. I wish people would quote from real world experience. Like I said, come to the remote areas of BC and we will give you a demo in real life. 300 to 400mbs, video conferencing no problem.
