I will pick just two points out of maybe 100 I could pick.
1. We have had 304& 316 Hardened SS out for over 10 years, we use it in the Mining Industry to put up hard blows on equipment and not get damaged, we cant afford the down time.
2. Go up to Canadas Oil Patch in Fort Mcmurray, All the Independant Welderes have Welding Rigs on the back of their Pickups, they make $120/$130 per Hour out of their welding rigs. How Much power can the Tesla Provide?? you mentioned the total Kw Hours, it will provide Emergency Welding in Remote Mountain Areas of BC , Canada where standard Welding Rigs cant get to the oil Pipe Lines, unless your a Goat.
We have designed many things mandated by the Government on the Minning/ Oil/ Forestry Industry in the last 15 years. Many people said it cant be done, we did it, people from around the world came to Vancouver Island to see how we did it.
You are talking about a First Generation Pickup, we have been doing this for over the last 20 years, real engineering is beyond what you guys are talking about. None of this surprises Engineers from Mining, Oil and Gas or Pulp and paper Industry. This is our bread and butter. Try equipment working at -50C for 6 months without breaking down, thats what we do up in the Arctic, its where Canadas first Diamond Mine was built for BHP. Ever herd of low temperature Steel, that can put up with 25 ft pounds at -40C, that is the specification for steel up in the Arctic, and NO the Chineese dont make it.
