Check Operation Mockingbird? The U.S. government had a secret plan to control the media and manipulate public opinion? Sounds like something out of a spy movie, right? Well, it’s not, Operation Mockingbird. CIA had a massive program to use the media to spread its propaganda, the CIA used every tool at its disposal to shape the narrative and control the message of the Media, aka, The Ministry of Propaganda. Operation Mockingbird is a large-scale program involved in the manipulation of news media for propaganda purposes.  The Nazis called it the Ministry of Truth, you are seeing it in use today. My memory is way better than yours.
