This is the issue with so many people when they argue they create some sort of narrative as fact in their head and then can't be changed and then their entire argument is based on that one fact that was incorrect. I'm not saying this is exactly the case but she brings up the fact he's conservative and then moves past it as if it's back even if he vehemently denies being one and has shown so up till this point. But just because she may have thought he said it at one point it becomes fact in her head and it won't ever be able to be changed. Even if somehow she saw the original video again where he doesn't say that she would still think he said it. Delusional people
