@zazaleaks make a point, don't hurl random pejorative

@JohnSmith-b6n that's a dumb argument, everyone knows that there are words that sound similar, and if you notice it, you think "oh shit, it sounds close to it" and considering how people twist anything

Wanna elaborate? @wddaww

@JohnSmith-b6n uh, no, I've said stuff that sounded like other things, I can't remember specifically i just remember the moment, but I had to say that i didn't say a specific thing that my friends were bugging me about. Sometimes you notice this stuff, and it's easy to tell. You are the problem, let it go. People make slip ups, people mumble at times, looking into the reason is ridiculous

@fast920 thank you, I can't articulate well

@JohnSmith-b6n hoo boy, if you wanna be in that camp, go for it. I couldn't care less at this point

@espurrseyes42 it barely sounded like a g in the middle, and I dunno about you but I dot really enunciate my "Ks" when then end a word. To me it sounded exactly like "Nick uh"

@espurrseyes42 why wouldn't some people say at the end if they haven't finished their thought? I'd say it's a pretty weak argument considering how often I'll see people complain that people can't speak without saying "like" or "uhh" every 2 words.
1
@JohnSmith-b6n your argument is based on the fact that she had a physical reaction but there's a lot of people who would react like that if they said something that sounded like something else
1
@espurrseyes42 "there's no reason" you're looking for a reason, that doesn't have an explanation. People who use the filler words use them extensively. There's a tuner I watch, and randomly after every word he'll lengthen to last syllable, for example "we should-uh try looking this way-uh" it drives me nuts, but it's the same thing here. I dunno, it doesn't sound super clear, but you say it doesn't really matter, but you seem to want it to be what she said. If it doesn't matter, then it doesn't matter and she said "Nick-uh"
1
@espurrseyes42 you're telling me you've never said something, and ended the sentence with "uhh"? So you are also gonna completely ignore my example? It sounds like you have a vendetta against her for some reason
1
@espurrseyes42 "obvious g sound" which I disagree with... Also, it could very well be an incomplete thought "Nick-uh..." Realizes what it sounded like and then the rest. You are acting as if people don't do irrational, inexplicable things, ever.
