I'd love to see some videos on the following topics: Gitlab Auto DevOps Chaos Engineering (Litmus) Policy as Code (Open Policy Agent) Compliance as Code In general just more topics on security, DevOps & Site Reliability

You're fucking awesome man! Even though I'm not learning anything new, it's always a pleasure to watch your damn well made videos.

Nest is the ultimate enterprise framework for building backends. People saying they hate Angular/Nest is just an opinion. Wait till you reach the point where plain express or React becomes unmaintainable.
55
Yet still the worst frontend "framework".
42
You won't even spend $20 a month on something you use 8 hours a day. That's just sad.
39
There's a big difference between an IDE and a code editor :)
22
@travispettry3025 no it doesn't.
22
First surveillance pigeons and now squirrel overlords.
22
@cloudfox1908 so? The architecture of React apps makes it unmaintainable in the long run. Plus React is slow as fuck because of virtual dom and use poor practices.
21
How to create 100 seconds videos in 100 seconds
17
GCP > AWS/Azure
16
@g-luu React is slow because of the process called reconciliation and the fact it keeps the entire dom tree in memory. You don't realize how expensive it is to compare the in memory virtual dom tree to the actual dom.
15
@g-luu did you even read what I wrote? How can you say my comment is false when you're just reciting exactly what I wrote. VIRTUAL DOM 🤦♂️ God, some people are just incompetent.
14
@g-luu bruh, you should legit look at benchmarks. React is one of the slowest frontend frameworks, rofl
12
Ain't gonna use shit made by Apple 🤮
11
@Jonathan1234000 why would you want to manage everything in Kubernetes? 😂😂😂
11
@mountakhabi yeah, you're completely wrong rofl
9
@christopherwhite6173 you can't compare template engines to SSR SPA apps 🤣
8
@combinedprogrammer2477 as someone using Terraform, I honestly don't give a fuck about the GUI, except for monitoring, tracing & observability where GCP outshines them both. They have the best Kubernetes engine (surprising 🤣) and deeply integrated error reporting for containers. Fuck AWS & Azure, rofl. Oh well, Azure is a piece of garbage, their portal is useless and slow as fuck as well for the rest of their services.
8
@g-luu stick to the topic if you want to have a serious discussion. We're not discussing wrongs or rights, we're discussing that React is slow.
7
@aloufin yeah so am I lol. Azure Portal is fucking garbage man. You literally can't do shit with it. It's confusing and slow as fuck. Also AKS is absolutely the worst Kubernetes engine in existence. I hate AWS, but even theirs is better than AKS. AKS still haven't solved fucking basic ass storage problems and it's been years. Claiming the Azure Portal is even remotely close to being something good just means you don't know shit 😂
7
Copilot is absolutely useless when it comes to writing quality code.
6
1. Don't use babel
6
You don't know much, do you?
6
@artiefischel2579 Terraform is shit compared to Pulumi though 😂
6
You should definitely not use Redis for event driven architecture...
6
@EternalConglomerate it's not bloated. It's an IDE, not a code editor 🤣🤦♂️
6
@g-luu and it isn't an opinion, it's a fact.
5
@SudeeptoDutta Svelte is useless for enterprise applications. No template type support and poor scalability.
5
Mastadon ain't got shit to do with decentralization, rofl
5
Yup, only rookies use VSC 😂 Disclaimer: people try to use VSC like its an IDE, when in fact it's just a code editor
5
Deno doesn't even type-check. What's the point of using TypeScript without type-checking? 😂🤦♂️
4
@clagccs Hasura is only usable for basic CRUD apps. It's a fucking nightmare.
4
Cry baby
4
@stefnirk unfortunately too many startups care more about building new features than building a good foundation first
4
@nishanthdipali6838 React is easier to learn and unopinionated, but that also causes more shitty code & developers. React is literally the worst frontend framework in existence lol
4
@blueghost3649 "they're not really needed" well if that statement ain't naive and ignorant, then I don't know what else it is. Design patterns exist for a reason 🤣
4
Cloudflare D1 is a distributed serverless sqlite database
4
@taylankammer it's written in Rust. It's most likely fast as fuck.
4
GCP > *
4
@aloufin lol the Azure Portal is upright useless
4
@Dxpress_ so they'll just provide you with free updates forever? Get a grip on how the real world works bro
3
@RainbowVision thats why you should always start out with decoupled modular monoliths.
3
@paulsullivan649 so you're saying useEffect is the best thing ever? Haha
3
I don't miss it and never will 😂 I regret PHP was the first language I ever learned. Had to unlearn almost everything I knew afterwards 🤣
3
Yugabyte is pretty much Citus on steroids
3
@lockontarget9660 when did I ever say that 😂
3
@JonathanRose24 you didn't ask any questions. All you did was make statements based on assumptions about a tool you obviously haven't used enough or don't know enough about.
3
@jerry9548 JavaScript already evolved I'm the TypeScript direction. TypeScript is considered the defacto standard.
3
@jerry9548 TypeScript will most likely never be natively supported in the browser, so I don't really see the relevance of your comment 😄
