@naturesarmy9 the fact is that VS Code doesn't even have 10% of the features that IntelliJ comes with, no matter how many extensions you install. I just tried VSCode again for a week, and holy shit what a nightmare. Refactor capabilities and intellisense in VSC is beyond garbage. How y'all call yourself software engineers while using that shit is hilarious 😂

@jaideepshekhar4621 I'm rich because I do my job well. Ironic, isn't it? 🤣
1
@jaideepshekhar4621 you don't seem to understand how economics work rofl. We pay immensive taxes and the living cost is way higher here because everything is more expensive. Use your brain, Jesus Christ
1
@jaideepshekhar4621 your statement is useless because we're talking about software engineer salaries lol
1
@jaideepshekhar4621 obviously you're not earning six figures if you're a junior 😂 There's no reason for you to be mad at me lol. It's not my fault you can't afford to pay a mere $15/mo for an IDE.
1
@jaideepshekhar4621 cry me a river kiddo. You have ever opportunity to become rich using modern wealth creation methods, but still you're sitting on your ass crying over comments on a YouTube video. Get a life.

@zz-if1ic hooks are SHIT
1
You can't really fit the paradigms of distributed systems in a 10 minute video. It's nearly impossible without people being even more confused than they were before.
1
There's Deepkit. Laravel is 🗑️ compared to it
1
nah it's not yet another JavaScript framework. It's something that's never been done before in TypeScript.
1
@charlesm.2604 glad to hear that. Deepkit is freaking awesome. Join the Discord :)
1
@charlesm.2604 Deepkit RPC is gRPC on steroids for TypeScript 😅
1
@charlesm.2604 Deepkit uses dynamic JIT optimized functions almost everywhere in its codebase, hence the insane performance

A real CTO would setup their infrastructure using IAC... Most of the time you don't use Kubernetes for scaling, but instead for development processes and easily managing the deployments you have using configuration. Calling Kubernetes for expensive is a fucking joke, it's only expensive when you have no clue what you're doing. I love your videos, but man...
1
@Fireship didn't mean to sound harsh at all, I've just heard this too many times haha. Keep up the good work !
1
@Fireship I've managed to decrease infrastructure costs around 80% by utilizing Kubernetes & Spot.io Ocean, lol. The real sucker is managed serverless.
1
@filip.a. how so? You can literally do jack shit with Next. It doesn't offer anything that React can't already do.
1
Deepkit RPC & Type next please :)
1
@skylark.kraken no, you can't. If you wish to build "blockchains" on top of an existing network (the technical term for this would be a parachain, sidechain etc) you'd be better of using e.g Polygon, Cosmos or Polkadot. Stellar is a blockchain by itself 🤦♂️ Yeah, you can use Stellar as a payment platform, but that's got nothing at all to do with building your own blockchain. All you're doing with Stellar is using BAAS.
1
@skylark.kraken but building your own blockchain literally has nothing to do with Stellar? If you want him to cover blockchain as a service, then yeah sure, use the proper terms instead of whining when you get corrected.
1
Been doing stand-ups for 5 years now. God. I. Fucking. Hate It.
1
I've considered trying out JetBrain Space. Is it worth it?
1
Do a video on Deepkit!!!
1
Please, don't use Ethereum, it's utter garbage, use Solana instead. Subtrate, Polkadot/Kusama would be cool as well.
1
Deno doesn't type-check... Completely fucking useless 😂
1
Can't kill C++ when it's built on and for C++ lulz
1
@jaromor8808 manual labor will go first rofl
1
@kukla-mukla6000 no zookeeper, no jvm, its 10x faster, etc
1
@kukla-mukla6000 custom data transformation built in directly using WASM
1
@kukla-mukla6000 instead of asking, why don't you just look it up? rofl
1
@kukla-mukla6000 up to 10x faster latency and better performance lol
1
@kukla-mukla6000 if you have to ask what problems zookeeper introduces you really don't know much about Kafka's architecture and why Kafka is trying to get rid of it
1
@kukla-mukla6000 with Kafka you have external data connectors. That's not needed with Redpanda because of its data transformation engine.
1
@kukla-mukla6000 I'd love to explain it fully in detail, but I won't bother since Redpanda have loads of articles about the differences
1
I'm missing the reverse engineering part here..? Isn't it supposed to be about how Logan Paul managed to scam people? Dafuq
1
@stefnirk BaaS like Hasura and Supabase is only good for MVPs/POCs. BaaS is utter trash and only suitable if you're a moron.
1
@stefnirk exactly, baas is great for MVPs/POCs as I initially stated
1
Wouldn't recommend people building blockchains based off Bitcoin. There's a reason it's obsolete for anything, but being used as payment. Cosmos, Polkadot or Polygon is the way to go.
1
@spacestonks8682 just saying man, nice video nonetheless :)
1
So basically like Pulumi, but limited to AWS and even worse?
1
@Fireship Rust 🙌
1
@nishanthdipali6838 god the ignorance from low level developers. 1) you've probably never used angular 2) if you had, you probably didn't want to spend time learn it 3) you're too stupid to learn it Angular is for made for enterprise applications 🤣 Come back when you have a frontend application with thousands of components, then you'll see how bad React is when it comes to scalability.
1
Are you sleeping under a rock?
1
EU has zero SaaS companies ot anything lol
1
Its exactly like Pulumi, just worse 😂
1
IPFS in 100 seconds NestJS in 100 seconds Domain Driven Design in 100 seconds
1
Nx is the best tool I've ever used in years. Top notch Nest, Cypress and Jest support.
1
Why are your videos only in 480p? 😅
1
@PenguinCrayon269 say that to postgres functions lol
1
You're a moron if you can't even do a basic Google search to find Pulumi as an alternative 😂
