Debany Doombringer - of course it's true, the gender swap followed Hollowood's woke trend to gender swap characters. Matt Smith's line was a gag, a throwaway line during a climatic and disorientated moment, I didn't miss a thing but it would appear you missed the joke. The change is all down to the BBC's woke mandate called the Equality and Inclusion Strategy. Except this change of the Doctor isn't true equality, this is faux-equality. True equality would have be coming up with a brand new Time Lady character whom got to where she is on her own merit, her own bravery and boldness, her own wits and intelligence, instead of riding the coat tails of the males that came before and standing on the shoulders of giants. Fernando Vasquez - Yes seriously. The history of the series was doing fine without the gimmick. Most people have seen right through it, hence the mass exodus of viewers.

Yes! I knew it reminded me of something. Loved reading the Dan Dare strips in 2000AD and the Eagle during the early 1980s. Good times.
