@datmonkeydo - Yet when I hear normal conversations centred around this topic, I usually hear 'woman' and 'transwoman' to distinguish between the two, rather than 'cisgender' and 'transgender'. To me, the latter examples sounds like 'newspeak' trying to dominate, almost force over the language norm, rather than a natural evolution of language and colloquialisms.

Most of what makes up this trend are men practicing autogynephilia which statistically has been found to be approx 80% of heterosexual men aroused by the idea of themselves as women.

@bridgettc5988 Firstly, if you wish me to direct you to where this study was found then you'll have to be a lot more polite than practically calling me a liar.

@pcprinciple3774 No worries, I said trend in the colloquial sense, as in kids following a fad. Have a look up of the findings from sexologist Ray Blanchard.

@bridgettc5988 Who's shaming people into not existing?! Who's saying transmen suffer from envy? I have the info that you can't find. If anyone needs a mature attitude around here, it's you luv.

@Dave Hanning You misunderstand. I'm not talking about the combined population of the world being LGBT. The percentage I mentioned is specifically for the 'trans' community as a whole, in that 80% of them are straight men with autogynephilia.

@pcprinciple3774 You misunderstand. The percentage I mentioned is specifically for the males of the 'trans' community, in that 80% of them are straight men with autogynephilia.

@bridgettc5988 I know that attraction and gender are different things. I'm just giving out the statistic in comparison to those who make up the other such as assexual, etc.

@bridgettc5988 What do you mean, 'your words'? My words, what..? Just because you haven't bothered to look into these studies and academic finding doesn't mean that they're not published.

Christ, I get the jitters when a cleaning lady comes into the men's not realising someone's in there. Awkwardness immediately overwhelms me and I'm pretty sure that goes for most men in this situation. I would dread to think how a woman who has been sexually assaulted by a man would react to a man dressed as a woman suddenly entering the toilet totally unexpected!

@Aarenby They didn't look the type to read the Mail. The other kids should have paid for their own copy.

@pcprinciple3774 This discussion says it better than I ever could without going into length - Search YT for 'Benjamin A Boyce Mia' edit: I would link to the YT video but typical of YT, they've blocked it because they don't want the discussion heard.

So in other words, it sounds like the 'cis' part came to be when the trans-movement took hold, as before then it was just 'woman'... for centuries. A term that has connotations of being weaponised.

So the motive was, the murder victim's parents read the Mail and the two other kids didn't like that speculation, so they murdered the person who didn't read the Mail?
