  1. Some very essential details there and not the obvious locked gear part, because that's the major one.. but the changing of the figure 8 or Disney ears o rings for this 2AR. I don't know if you remember but I commented on the VVTi 1MZ video that someone changed their valve cover gasket and those o rings came with. He found out his startup rattle went away. Because why? Like you said. Oil control to the gear. When it's cold and the engine hasn't built pressure yet, that's why. That's the detail that makes this channel special. And another one I've forgotten now because of this comment writing but there was something else too.

  2. I think I remember now. It was the air pressure to unlock the gear. I've seen it before but I'm not sure if the 1MZ gear works differently. But I recall him sticking the rubber tip of the air directly on one of the holes or something and unlocking it that way. At least I don't remember it being on the block when he unlocked it.
