  1. 10:47 obviously you arent critical enough and still too biased towards Britishism: The 508th small battalion mistake under Gavin was but a SMALL error that got snowed under by MANY more and HEAVIER blunders by the likes of the planners , Brereton (HUGE choking off the project), the keeping OPEN the side thrust on "the island" via Pannerden and Looveer ferry (capable of ferrying tanks and halftracks), and many other cock-ups in the field (which is "part -and-parcel" of warfare). The Germans were simply quicker and SMARTER to respond. And last but not least the SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW advance of the 30Crps. Your british lads. .. And it was your personal hero FRost that LET PASS SS 9th recon over arnhem bridge towards Nijmegen thereby reinforcing the sentries on Nijmegen bridge...before the ss recon returned to Frost to attack his positions. Had frost blockaded the bridge then on 17th sept, the first instance, then yeah, even the later 508th advance to Nijmegen (evening 17th) would have SUCCEEDED..(but ultimately hours later on 18th OVERWHELMED by german SS influx over Pannerden...impossible to hold) ..
