If you like to give an "idea" of the human potential of both sides that were and could be effectively used in human landwarfare against eachother, then the population numbers is only a ROUGH...VERY ROUGH means of statistics...for infantry AND means of war equipment potential. To prove the point that russia by 1942 could not assemble hordes of infantry to overflow the enemy. Okay. That is fair..but ADMIT that it is a rough estimate means of statistics. But you are doing silly by adding the "full" potential of Spain on the basis of a stupid little Blue division..(in your video text...not in the table). Equally so...by discarding the high tech efforts of Britain in naval and air facing the equally high tech german effort on water, air and in coastal defense. You MISS the point that in order to OPERATE a submarine with 50 ? heads you NEED a shore personnel support and civilian building workforce that runs in the HUNDREDS PER VESSEL...whereas to BUILD up a russian INFANTRY DIVISION and support you probably can do with LESS than 1 hundred in desk staff and civilians... Given this, you DO need to incorporate the CANADIANs (albeit with a reduction factor) and Italian reduction factor (for being mainly directed towards the british theatre). It makes it more complicated, but the ISSUE is probably to DISPROVE the mainly russian "we are all alone in this world"calimero thesis of being undermanned against the "might" (=not) of the axis combination in 1942. I dont buy THAT .

@hermitoldguy6312 somewhere in the video he mentions (cant find the exact timestamp) that "probably Spain population shld also be included for sending the blue division as are rumania/hungary included here, DESPITE being not an EFFECTIVE force.." ' that is THEIR problem'. 8:08 here-ish. (not exactly the point..but if ineffective hungary and whofully ineffective rumania are 100% counted,..then Spain shld be technially counted too".....).
