  2. @Lil Bean Sprout there is no reason to think the vaccine would cause cancer. We've made vaccines in similar ways for some time and there is no correlation to cancer. However, given the amount of cellular damage caused by COVID-19 it is very likely it will be found to be connected to increased incidents of cancer.

  4. The problem is that until this is over the masks need to stay on. Because there are idiots not taking the vaccine and we can't tell who those people are we have to be universal about mask use. Vaccinated people don't need masks; unvaccinated by choice people won't wear masks unless forced. People who can't be vaccinated are in danger if unvaccinated people aren't wearing masks. Thus it's essential that we make everyone wear masks. In short, think of the children.

This is why 99.2% of new cases are unvaccinated instead of 100%. Countries who have used masks and carefully monitored who caught COVID-19 and made good use of quarantine have effectively eliminated new cases. See: both Korea's and Vietnam. I'm not sure why the CDC responding to new data in a way that corrects problems as they are observed. Technically, it arrived in 2019, hence the 19 of COVID-19. Or at least it was discovered then. Doctors have been using the best possible PPE to minimize casualties but the last year and a half have been extremely dangerous for healthcare professionals. As for the unhomed I don't know any stats on the matter, however they aren't well documented as is. I don't think it would be reasonable to label all deaths Corona deaths but also they aren't. There may be a few cases of misattribution but you'll find that is more common that things weren't counted as Corona deaths because there never was a test done.

The CDC works with the most recent data. Unfortunately, since they weren't listened to very much last year many people died. They are also all producing at full capacity as is so there is no motive to create more demand. In fact, they are motivated to build confidence in their product and would not want to defer production to a second product that implies limitation in the original.
