@mrbleepblopguy4638 I had to look it up. There seems to be a lot of speculation here, but I see nothing suggesting a regret for surgery or transition. Seems it's all based on how she said she 'didn't feel like herself'... which, honestly, a star of a reality television show would likely say. There's no indication this is about gender or surgery. So, I'd say it likely did her good, or at least no harm. It seems they had to do a second surgery at some point but that's not uncommon for any surgery. If there was anything abusive that happened to her it is the fact that her parents let her be the star of a TLC show. No one should suffer that fate.
Anyway, sex reassignment surgery is probably the least needed and least done medical procedure. Hormones are far more important. And ultimately what improves the lives of trans people is acceptance; but the reality is that trans people are more accepted when they look the part. It's just how these things are. This is why genital stuff isn't that important. This is, however, why things like puberty blockers and getting the right puberty is so essential.
In the end, you are basing your position on disgust and reaction. Not on reason, science or compassion. Research is clear: affirmative care is the best care for trans people. Sometimes affirmative care requires surgery or hormones. It's simple: you either are okay with trans people dying or not. Give trans people the care they need or admit you are part of a genocidal project.
