  1. No. Texas needs to be ready to take freeways both directions North. Storm surge is worse than wind. However days and days and days of no electricity! No insulin for diabetics or oxygen for COPD patients. Both way freeway traffic North

  2.  @kbrown5218 I agree with this, but Americans are too selfish. Beach dwellers followed by the next tier etc.. Houston can easily wait 48 hours, then head out. If people worked together in an orderly fashion it’d be so easy.
