@nickhill8612 we didn’t in city school but I grew up around long guns and knew how to use them for targets. A few rodeo type kids had trucks with racks in them but the guns weren’t allowed on school property in the 1970s. I’m a Dallas Texan so it was not shocking to SEE them! And we’d go out to Dunkenville which was rural enough to fire them at cans back then. I’m not anti gun, just military weapons. Our police officers, small town without SWAT anyway have no way of dealing with that! And damn, a machine that can wipe out dozens in a few seconds? Bad idea in public hands. Dad had a loaded shotgun for mom. In case anything really bad happens hun, point and fire. Her own dad was a loose cannon and until he passed away her and her mom were afraid of him.

I have to wonder what is wrong with our kids. I know that violence in movies and video games is something we really didn’t have in my day, not like today. Gaming for us was Pokémon. The Second Amendment has been abused to the point asking any police officer, that every swing dk in the USA has EASY ACCESS to military style assault weapons with 30 and 100 round magazines of ammo. I watch Body Cam, every American should be required to see what the gun nuts are really doing to the rest of us. In ONE situation 5 cops trying to arrest a man in his home were hit. He opened fire with an AR and in a few seconds one cop was killed, another took 4 rounds and had to jump out of the window on the sencond floor. The others hobbled or were dragged out. Thats fkd up. Our society is screwed and by a hand a hand full of conservatives

@kl0wnkiller912 Valid point! I even remember Deer Rifles. But nobody shoots deer with an AK. GW Bush signed into law the public could own the damn things against all the police departments in the USAs best advice. Yes they were around but not like now. I’m not an anti gun guy, I can target shoot I just don’t care to. Dad hunted until he got older and mom didn’t want us to. We were big city kids and didn’t need to honestly but we had “sht KKr” kids, we called them, no offense. Popular boys and girls who drove pick ups and had rifles. I had an old Cadillac convertible lol. My point about certain guns is that you don’t hunt with them, and you can’t kill 60 people in 3 minutes without one. I feel like the USA should stick with hunting rifles and shot guns.. hand guns. I’m not your enemy I think you get that. Yes culturally speaking some things have changed and others have just gotten worse.
