Those activists really need to work hard to get the County to allow them as volunteers to get inside this facility and work with staff to help these kids. Texas is operated by Republicans who underfund every single State funded program. They HAVE to do short of staff which would explain why kids are being kept in their cells! TDCJ has problems with filthy conditions and run down buildings, abuse of inmates. The director left because he was lying and was in a corner. We should be trying to help these kids not punish them! They’re troubled enough already and don’t need to be made worse.
