  1. The strange thing is it's even possible some words change their gender in time in some mysterious way so that no one is able to track exactly how or when (or for what reason??) it happened. In Czech the word for the sun is neuter (to slunce) yet we know some 150-200 years ago it was still masculine. (ten slunce)
