  1. A commission present at the hand-over of the russian gold treasure back to the Russians in February 1920 confirmed there was nothing missing from the treasure. However, the legionaires really brought home some money, as they ran various businesses and even plants while occupying towns in Russia.

  2. In the Czechoslovak legions in Russia there were very few Slovaks in fact. Something like 3%. It may have been otherwise in the CS legions in France and Italy though.
