  4. Good to see you have everything winter ready! I still have some things to do, but if they don't get done, it's not the end of the world! Our barbeque grill and a wooden bench and a picnic table should have been moved into the garage for protection. I could be very happy with your homestead! I don't know about my wife, though. She's not a"City girl" but she does like some of the conveniences you don't have off-grid. I'm just an old Boy Scout deep down. Give me firewood and I'll have heat and a way to cook my food. She likes camping out but I don't think she would like that all the time. I know it's a different lifestyle, but I could definitely get used to it. Lots of work, but it's the rewarding kind. May not make you money but happiness is more valuable anyway! Keep it stupid simple and I could make it work. My wife thinks I try to make everything hard because I do things MY WAY! Gives me the drive to succeed! If I fail the first time, I'll try a different approach. I don't give up! But like you Kyle, I think things through before I jump in. I do know one thing for sure, if you never try, you never succeed! A failure just gives you another chance to try. I don't sit around and wait for someone else to do something I could've done myself. Time is the most valuable commodity we have. You're doing a great job with your time working on your homestead with Cierra and Skeeter. Great job! You're such an inspiration for an old man that has been beat up by the world.
