  1. “Every group has different ideas” - yes. The problem is that if your rabbi disagrees - that’s what the “community” thinks, and if you don’t do what you’re told - you’re shunned. Before Covid I had friends who were thrown out of the orthodox community (no contact with their family and old life) just for living a secular life because they had questions. That’s not ok. To be fair, the Israeli chassis is sects are much more radical and I can’t stand them. Jews are not supposed to have sects. We’re supposed to be all together. And these corrupt rabbis divide us for money and politics. Same with the seculars. And none of them would take off the mask despite saying they trust God, what does that tell you?
