  2. I will never forget the night Trump won. I hated Hillary but I thought that just the fact that both of these candidates were the only two final choices of the American people meant it’s the end of the world. So in the middle of the night I asked Siri:”who is the President of the United States?” because I didn’t want to find out from the news in the morning. And then something strange happened, when Siri said that the President of the United States is Donald J Trump I felt relief in my gut, and that’s when I realized that I didn’t actually have a preferred candidate (or any potato over Hilary), and things were not as I initially thought.. The bonus was that my lefty friends had a nervous break down for an entire year and it was a hilarious revenge 😂 and the fact that Trump ended up being a good president until Covid… but I will never forget that feeling of being instinctually relieved - like my mind finally took a break when there was no longer a choice and my gut took over. Had I been an American - I probably wouldn’t have voted in 2016 at all, but I would have voted Trump in 2020.
