I agree with him that there is no “catastrophic, man-made climate change”, but I don’t understand how a former greenpeace hippy trusts the studies done by the American government (or any government for that matter). I understand how being disappointed by greenpeace sends you to the other side, but I’m very much there without thinking humanity is ready for the responsibility for nuclear power. All it takes is one bad link in the chain of nuclear scientists, a boss or a politician giving bad orders for a bad accident that makes the land uninhabitable for thousands of years. If we want nuclear power - we must be responsible enough to earn it, and that’ll happen when we fix our systems not to take the side of chemical and pharma companies against people dying of cancer first. Start with Dow, DuPont, Monsanto, and Pfizer…
