  9. Allow me one small correction: you said there’s something about the soviet people, they’re attracted to authoritarian power. I think that there were many other Russians (or Eastern Europeans conquered by the Soviet Union) who were murdered because they didn’t want authoritarian power. So it’s only the majority of the remaining Soviets who crave authoritarian power, and the fact that after all this they’re not 100% is a miracle.

I also noticed that those Russians who crave authoritarian leadership are rarely those who want an authoritarian leader over themselves, most just want someone who wants what they want but realize this is not them (they’re not qualified to make others do as they will, so they think a Stalin would do what they cannot). I don’t take those seriously, it’s those who want a dictator over themselves that scare me, maybe I should fear the opposite, since there’s many more of those and they’re easily fooled.
