And it’s written by a leftist liberal who saw firsthand what Stalin was doing to his people. He wasn’t a prophet, he was a great writer who wrote about soviet Russia that’s coming back again.   17. Personally what saved me was that I moved schools quite a lot, so I got to see both sides of the political map and several Jewish streams of orthodoxy. I hated school as a kid and I was chronically ill and undiagnosed so it was agony for me in more ways than one, but it taught me that when the left says something about conservatives that’s a lie, I know because I was there. For example:”I wasn’t a fan of teacher X, but she never said Y”. The second thing was that I was very apolitical, and my grandma was a liberal as I went through a conservative school. She taught me to think critically and so when I finally got into politics it was only in 2015 (Netanyahu’s elections and then Trump in 2016), I knew both sides well enough to know the left is crazy and hateful while the right may not be perfect, as all humans are flawed, but it has principles and it tries to live up to them and be a kind human to others. That’s saved me as an adolescent and as an adult - knowing how to think without hating ideologies based on a person I like or don’t like.

As a former liberal , neo-conservative, I usually run away from these “I never knew who I was and I failed in the end, but here’s another depressive life for ya, just like your neighbors”. Not because I dispute how clean it is, but because we are all one vote away from socialism, and it’s socialism that can cause such catastrophic accidents as Chernobyl. FYI, China is now building a nuclear reactor for Great Britain. We are screwed.

  37. Mr Prager, I’m an Israeli Jew. When we immigrated into Israel I was sent to several bad orthodox schools and that killed my love for Judaism. I was always a proud Jew and a proud Zionist but it was your wisdom and your books that got me to start respecting the religion and what’s behind it again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Race only matters to me when I can learn something from a person who comes from a different culture or when I want to appreciate their beauty.

  38. My first impression of black culture as a Jew was: omg, they used our story of living through slavery to get themselves out. Hold on, we will never let you go, and thank you for setting it to the most beautiful music as well. This was my 16 year old self’s first impression of all black Americans (before visiting and meeting anyone). I’ve always had that in the back of my mind, we are connected, we compliment and empower each other. Always. ❤️

Since then I read books like: Prager: the rational Bible Kenneth Levin’s Oslo Syndrome. Ben Dror Yemini’s Industry of lies Raymond Ibrahim’s Sword and Scimitar Michelle Malkin’s Open borders inc. Mark Morano’s The politically incorrect guide to climate change... and others such as Pamela Geller, Dr. Jamie Glazov and Ayn Rand. I feel as if someone removed a veil from my eyes and I can finally see the world for what it is, an entirely new dimension has opened up to me, something I was incapable of doing before and never knew why (I’m a huge nerd and I never liked to read...). Thank God for good doctors, and now for books. Can’t wait for the book club. ❤️

  48. Hi, I’m from Israel. We have a social healthcare system, but it’s half private and half state covered. So you get a choice between several HMOs (named: National, General, United..) and they’re in constant competition with each other, so the service is much better. The public hospitals are still crappy and overcrowded, but they’re also covered by the state if the doctor decides you had a good reason to come to the ER, or if you were sent by your GP. We also have a system called Terem (translated into the word Prior), which is Iike a walk-in pre-ER clinic, which costs about 30$ per visit and they decide if they can treat you on the spot or if they can send you to the ER, that way the ERs are not as overcrowded, and you get to choose whether you pay for the private healthcare system (which is pretty expensive but cheaper than in the USA), or the public system which also employs private specialists because the major hospitals fund the specialist’s tuition and in return they give back by working in that hospital’s public system twice a week, that way they have a private clinic where they charge as much as they like, but they also operate on public healthcare patients for “free” (state covered). And all this without being a socialist state. I have a chronic illness. The state helped me have two surgeries with two specialists who gave me my life back from living in fatigue and excruciating pain, and now I can work and give back to the state that took care of me. I have an international support group and hearing the USA horror stories, it makes me want to send them all to Israel and treat them here (I know that’s insane, but a girl can dream). 😍 IT CAN BE DONE!!! This is why I love Israel. There’s no reason why the USA can’t do the same. Please come learn from us, we learn from you every single day and I’m sure our countries would love to cooperate on this.
