  1. I don’t understand this… people just have a kid together and they decide to break up.. and the child is just condemned to poverty and loneliness… and no one pays the price.. Other than in cases of domestic abuse, I think divorce with children should be illegal and adulterers should be fined for putting their family’s stability and their kid’s mental health at risk. I know I sound old-fashioned, but that’s me.

  3. I think that if all people of the golden age and pre-golden age who are married and financially stable adopted someone in the system, society would be better-off and many children would be saved.

  4. My mom and dad had me at 34, they were AWFUL parents. I was raised by my grandfather on my dad’s side, who in his 70s was the only person who loved me unconditionally and I still pray to him when I need to feel that love. My mom’s aunt (20 years older than she is) raised me after we immigrated, she was also a great parent. It’s not about age, it’s about patience, good parenting, two people who won’t just have a baby and then break up like nothing happened, and being ready and physically and financially responsible.
