If only all the old school comedians were just capable of expressing themselves now as they did then: by telling the most painful, brutal truth, in such a way that no one would be able to stop themselves from laughing their asses off. All disputes would be over. This especially applies to Rowan Atkinson and the Monty pythons. Just imagine a skit, something like “my blackberry’s not working”, or “four candles”, but done about gender issues today. The two Ronnies also had a really old skit where they’re doing a game show where the contestant has to give the right answer to the PREVIOUS question, and they end up getting two names of politicians after a question about zoo animals, and they end up going (in using different names): “What is the difference between Jeremy Corbyn and Dianne Abbott? One’s a donkey and the other is just a statue of an ass” Imagine if the horridly amazing cast of Little Britain didn’t cancel their “My name is Emily Howard and I am a lady” skit, for being non-PC, but actually kept developing it even further.. Emily Howard swimming against Vicky Pollard. COME ON! we used to have horrifically offensive humor in our lives, where did it all go????
