... And THIS is why I don't support Capital Punishment ... putting aside the fact that it is really just a form of state revenge, it ALSO - occasionally - sacrifices the life of an innocent person. Is not the killing of an innocent human being usually called Murder ? Shit happens, as the vapid homily would have us accept, but this too is little more than the act of washing our hands of a bad decision ... so Pontius Pilate is a hero now ?
