... The American Government doesn't tax the rich - as such. What they actually do is to use the Wealth of the Rich as loans TO the Government - along with the tax-cuts & exemptions that the Rich & Corporations get, they ALSO get paid back on those loans with interest - Do YOU get that ? In the case of Pharmaceutical Companies, the Government often bankroll important new developments - with YOUR MONEY - and then relinquish the Patent Rights TO the Company involved, and allow them free-reign over the pricing of drugs that YOU helped pay to develop so that YOU - when you need those drugs - get to pay PREMIUM PRICING, and the built-in cost of R&D - that YOU HELPED PAY FOR - is NEVER ENDING :face-red-droopy-eyes:Duh !
