... The best analogy for AI as threat OR advantage is Atomic Power ... both can be used for great harm (Bombs being the most obvious example) or good (Medical and Forensic Uses) ... It's all going to come down to application, and THAT is where HUMAN intelligence comes in. The legal system is ALWAYS miles behind Technology. That DOESN'T mean Tech needs to be held up, but it DOES mean that the Law needs to CATCH UP - and STAY CAUGHT UP !
