... Which is irresponsible and morally reprehensible nonetheless, and -if the system worked properly, it should have been illegal. Trump's litigation of the election results may have been entirely legal, but holding up the technical business involved in the transition should not have been.

The problem is that the DOJ has a very bad record of NOT setting precedent ... and so far, no US President has REALLY paid for his actions - not Nixon and not Clinton - and I honestly don't see that changing. Garland, or Smith - what difference will it make ? ... I say, in the end, it will change nothing. I hope I'm wrong, I just don't think I am in this case ...
