A more immediate problem is the Arctic Ocean : the Moon will be a difficult and expensive project for the future, but the Northern arctic regions of our own planet are being disputed right now for resources - more fossil fuels that will increase Co2 levels of exactly the same kind as those presently causing the Arctic Ocean to heat up and thaw in the first place - worry about THAT, not the Moon !

@peacetoall1858 Canada, Denmark (via Greenland), Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the United States are all making claims on the Arctic - and even China (which is NOT an arctic adjacent nation is trying to get into the act. And ALL for the same resources that are damaging the climate. If the IS a conflict over resources, it wont be on the Moon.
