The level of intelligence on display in Congress - with the MTG's and Boeberts bopping around isn't TOO surprising, because it's the lower house and has 435 seats to fill, and that can't be easy in a Country where about 20% of the population are Hillbillies & Swamp folks. Still, I would have thought that the Senate with only 100 seats would be a higher level of intellect. However, Britt would seem to belie that idea ... I guess anybody with money & low friends in high places can become a member of the ruling elite. Goes to show that even a wonderfully egalitarian system like Democracy has it's flaws !
