... We ONLY call ourselves Atheists because there IS no prove of a " God " and some of us require proof in order to believe. We are told there are Gods, ghosts, demons, UFO's some strange " things " going on in the Bermuda Triangle, a Flat Earth, a hollow Earth, Near-Death Experiences and that Bit Coin is a safe investment - ALL WITHOUT PROOF ... I only believe in Scientific claims when they are independently verified - AND I am aware that " Hypothesis " are not yet " Theories " and that theories are frequently proven wrong. Am I a hard ass when it comes to " belief " ? ... you betcha ! ... CAN i be convinced - yes, but it takes more than just a desire to believe ...🤔... Do YOU care ? - Probably not, and that is how it should be.
