@Frank289100 Nice interpretation. I especially like the part where you decide that it just protects the Christians, as opposed to any other faith. Granted Two-Hundred Plus years ago, there weren't a lot of Jews, Muslims or Hindus to confuse the American Dream of New Testament-Biased control over the masses, but we have to interpret these things correctly. " Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion " MEANS just what it says, and The Separation of Church and State IS the goal. No one then - or now - is trying to prevent Christians from worshiping in their own fashion - BUT, the Founders did not intend for America to be a Theocracy either.

@andrewthomas4636 A good point, and ALL THE MORE REASON to make sure that DOESN'T happen again. Thomas Jefferson ALSO owned Slaves, - should we forgive him for that and let it slide ? ... I say NO, let's be honest about it. It's high time America lives up to it's Reputation and Hype !
