@johnalexander8536 Well, - we agree on one thing ... Both Parties suck. Personally, I can't imagine a future where Politicians actually care about people or what those people may need or want. Sanders may be an exception - ( I think he is, but what do I know ? ) - still, it's a pleasant thought.

@JM1993951 Sanders made a big mistake years ago by even calling himself a Socialist. He should have known - even then - that Americans would NOT understand what he meant. The USSR stood for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, after all and a man of Bernie's intelligence SHOULD have realized that it would always mean " Commie " to even a Centrist. He could have branded himself as a Champion of the Working Class, - and THAT might have only alienated the Wall Street crowd - instead of at least half of America.

@martinwoyzeck2634 Well then - THOSE People are wrong ! I've studied some of Russia's History, - along with Weimar Germany and China - NOT because I agree with either Communism or National Socialism, but because I find 20th Century History an interesting subject. Stalin was a Murderous Bastard - so was Mao. But that's the problem; too many Americans honestly believe that Socialism - as in Health Care - is the same as it's Evil Big Brother Communism (no pun intended). America has had Socialism for decades - Medicare, Medicaid, Housing Assistance, Welfare AND Unemployment Insurance, to mention but a few. Incidentally , the US has had a Communist Party for many years - so has Canada - but neither Party ever gets many Votes. I don't think they ever will. I'm good with that.
