... Yeah ... Like there is ABSOLUTELY no need for Humans to go to Mars in this Century. We can send ever-more sophisticated robotic hardware to Mars to do virtually everything that is needed for scientific purposes and no risk whatsoever to Human Beings (or animals) and no need for Starship to lug air, food or water in support of the humans that DON'T need to go ! ... There will ALSO be no need for multiple fuel-hauling rockets to place masses of fuel into orbit OR (try) to mount a rescue if it all goes sideways. Elon Musk wants the credit and the money now, rather than have someone else - SpaceX or not to do it in a more technically proficient future time ... Boo Hoo, Elmo ! ...

Better rovers, Flyers and Probes can and will be developed AND - given the needs of Human Beings for sustained survival support - it WILL be less costly in dollar terms ... there IS NO NEED for Human Beings to be place on the Martian surface in this century. If you insist, why don't you and Elon Musk be our PIONEERS ?
