... Take it from a 70 year old Canadian - now retired from a life of labor-type jobs, having a good marriage and the habit of careful saving and spending - Canada is no better off - or worse off than the average western nation, AND - in some ways (Healthcare, for example) - better off than my US counterparts. This is MY reality. Don't like the simple truth ? ... Too bad.
