@RaheemGostar Nothing hurt me. I was raised by a lapsed Catholic & a part time Anglican, and taken to a nice bland Protestant Church until I reached the age where Christianity and it's various trappings didn't make sense to. Curious, I started to read about other faiths - Judaism and Islam, and found that THEY made just as little sense. Studied World Religions for a while, but the Deity-based stuff all sounded like wishful thinking and just a wee bit like some kind of mental slavery - to other human beings, that is, because the " God " stuff is just one more ghost story ... yet another " flying saucer " tale - goofy shit. I don't believe that " good " comes from any god or goddess, I think good & evil are names we give to Nondestructive and Destructive behaviour. I THINK the man-made faiths usurped the concept, built an elaborate narrative around it all - over the centuries - and used it to keep the common people - you & me - under control ...
