Any Nation suffering invasion has a right to repel the Invaders, that much goes without saying, but ultimately the initial questions IS still valid ... Too many wars in history have been pinned to specific causes, religion, land disputes and water rights. But anything connected to Empire - ANY Empire, - British, American, Russian or any other state that claims Divine Rights, Manifest destiny or Historical Sovereignty as it's SOLE justification to invade another group is just plain wrong ... Period. " Exceptionalism " and vaguely defined " National Interests " must be included in this value judgement, at least by fair-minded people of good intent ...
