  1. Many years ago, I was doing some repair work on a house out in the countryside. About 20 feet away, was a rooster pin, with a single full-grown mail and probably 15 or 20 little guys. I have no idea how old they were, but they were apparently being taught to ... Coo, ca coooo ca cooooooooo to wake every ones arse up in the morning. Unlike a cat, that can hiss for the very first time with a 10/10 score, the rooster has to "learn" how to crow. So the adult would give a rip roaring example of the perfect crow and would select one of the little ones to follow suit. It was like Bobby Brady on that episode when all the kids were trying to sing and Bobby's voice was cracking? The little guy would go..."Cooo caa bllahaballlablaeeabaa" for a total "F" score. I could see the adult making the ..."from the diaphram" gestures to them.  . I laughed the ENTIRE day, listening to those little guys try and try and try and try. I don't think they ever got it right, but damned entertaining :)
