@cincyreds62 ... I sometimes reflect on how cynical I have become about the Democratic party. Of course, if the party were still "Democrats" and not been taken over by "Demoncrats", there would be no cause to feel as I do. I am sincerely trying to "keep the faith" that one day the true liberals will retake their party and be willing to see the GOP as the opposition or even as a rival, but NOT as the enemy! I feel it is going to take a long time before that day comes :(

@charlieb8788 .. is that true? I will vote in person in a couple days, as I have ZERO faith in voting by mail. I see about a 15% chance that the association of my name, which is printed on the ballot envelope, and the it being on the conservative list of registered voters, would see my ballot be counted! It really troubles me to feel this way, but there will be one sure test to the legitimacy of this election. We know that 2M people hand-signed an initiative to recall Grewsom. If we get little more or God forbid LESS than that number be counted as a "YES" for recall, we will know the fix is in. Sadly, I would not put it past the Demoncrats to actually have such poor forethought as to make sure that tally falls well short of 2M recall votes. Even if it did, the GOP wont have the ballz to make a legit argument for recount or accusation of fraud. . I saw a video, in which a ballot envelope had a 1/4" hole to which you could identify a specific check-box once the ballot was placed in side and oriented correctly. That hole showed very clearly the black mark where the "recall Grewsome" box was filled in. I checked my envelope and sure enough, it had that same hole, but there happened to be no configuration in which that hole exposed ANY particular vote within. Not sure what that means, but that video is what convinced me to vote in person!

@k-peezy2723 ... I don't quite understand your comment here :( Are you saying that Larry's name should be first, as opposed to the last in the list of "More options"? If so, I would rather it be set up in such a way as to display ALL of the candidates on a single screen and listed in alphabetical order. That would clearly be the fairest way to present the replacement governor. I would be curious to see if ALL of the "Regressives" candidates are listed first, while ALL of the "Conservatives" last and Larry's name likely as the very last one!: There are 9 Democrats running There are 2 Green running There are 10 "None" running There are 1 Libertarians running There are 24 Republicans running This is the breakdown and I will take note of the order when I vote, as I would not be surprised to see them listed in the order directly above!

TY for clarification and I tend to agree :) My biggest issue with the GOP is they have ZERO ballz and just keep trying to defend themselves to ENDLESS offensive attacks by Regressives. It would be like a boxer who keeps getting hit in the head and cannot get on his feet fast enough to step back and regain balance. The ring referee, the judges and even the hot blonde who carries the round number cards are ALL leftist, so they don't break it up. The entire Democratic "Well, at least we don't have Trump anymore" party are hell bent on destroying ALL of the values with which the Western World was built, in the hopes they can do so before the sleeping public wakes up.

"Facts don't care about your feelings" :) Storytime, with the Lil' Ninja: About 1 hour ago, my phone rang and answer machine had one of those voting promotion calls and was from conservative party (as I am registered that way) and sounded like a LIVE person. Sure enough, we spent literally 1/2 hour on the phone and we were on the exact same page on EVERYTHING. While I do everything I can to NOT be within an echo chamber with news and such, I cannot say how pleasant it was to not get ANY disagreement on anything. She and I are both moderate conservatives who want sane Democrats and GOP to not be dominant in any branch and actually work together, so that America gets to have open debate, dialog and comes to a decision that is a fair compromise for a good path forward. Oh, she told me of a press conference at 1PM (PST) with Larry, but no idea the channel or station, but likely on Fox. . DAMN.... I long for the days when I was not told to STFU, every time I shared an opposing opinion to someone :)

TY :) Unlike our Regressive counterparts, I don't go for the low-hanging fruit and straw man by default :) I am a HUGE fan of dry humor and sarcasm and I have missed the mark many, many times. Funny, how you hear it in your own head and seems so obvious as a really great laugh, only to get a "WTF" or "Barrarraa aarar rra" in response... lol. Even if Larry wins, the super-majority will be fighting him from all sides and with everything they've got! I understand as governor, he will have some pretty significant powers that are just part of the job, but we can bet that he will get massive push-back against everything he does. Of course, that will be because he is pushing back on EVERYTHING they do, but if nothing else... the push back will get media attention and those who are still asleep may wake up to what is really going on!

@sherryjohnson3804 ... 100% agreed! I remember when liberal was derived from "liberty" and ACLU defending Nazi's to lawfully protest down main street. Nowadays, it is conservatives who are the "Nazis" and we get cancelled because an opposing opinion is considered fascist hate speech! Everything has turned on its head now and distinctly remember it was Tipper Gore who had backing of the GOP to go after rap music because of "explicit lyrics" and was the Democratic party that was talking about 1a and free speech. Their argument, and 100,000% agree with this, was not to protect your neighbor from saying .."you have a nice car", but rather from your neighbor saying... "your wife is an F'ing female dog". I am proud to see, but it is a bit strange seeing all of the GOP talking about 1a with the same passion Democrats did in those early '90s senate hearings!

@surfingtheoceanoftheinterwebs ... WOW... but it sadly does not surpise me :( I live in Marin Co. and is probably a bit less liberal than your area, but is quite bad. As I mentioned in an earlier comment, there is NO reason whatever to print up different ballots regardless of mail-in or in-person. This is a special election with only 2 boxes to fill in. There can be no possible doubt that Democrats are behind the variations in all this stuff, if for no other reason than to inject confusion and such into the process. I have lost an insane amount of faith in what is, on paper, far and away the best way to elect a representative government. . Of course, the rules bear very little to the outcome we get at the end of the day! The more this goes on, the more I begin to think that the current system for the last 250 years is going to have to be completely destroyed, as the Demoncrats are absolutely trying to do. THEN... we will have some twisted, psychotic semi-socialist utopia that will take 100 years to finally implode. At that point, some hermit scholar will be looking through a long lost civilization and come across the founding fathers documents. Like a lightning bolt, those documents will be "re-discovered" as the miracle that they truly are and our nation will start anew. . That is an EXTREMELY ugly variable in all of this, but the alternative is even uglier...

@gmaillastname8591 ... The crazy thing is that I don't think there are nearly as many true ideologues as it would appear. Now, they have a complete strangle hold on big tech, mainstream media, K~12 academia, the Regressive party and Gen Z. However, most of who we see are just looking for social currency and "clicks".

@surfingtheoceanoftheinterwebs ... On my particular ballot, Larry's name is smack-dab in the middle of the three columns of names. Don't understand why it would be any different on your ballot, as what's the point of printing up different layouts for different counties? The ONLY thing that would possibly occur to me, is maybe your particular county leans more conservative and hence they put EVERYONE else's name easier to find. I get that sounds conspiratorial, but there is ZERO reason to change the layout, as the ENTIRE state of Comifornia is voting on the exact same thing at the exact same time! I give Demoncrats ZERO benefit of the doubt when I see anything that looks even a little bit fishy.

@cargotoolshop5319 ... Funny, as I am looking at my ballot closer and ALL parties are scattered all over it, but only sort of in alphabetical order. It starts with a Republican "Newman" and lists mostly Republicans and seemingly at random. It then goes back to alphabetical... then back to random. I would guess that on my particular ballot, there may have been a lottery on the order in which they are listed, so more equitable (<--- Dammit.. did I really have to use THAT word... lol) than was on the ballot others, as well as what Dave used to cast his vote.

@JohnJ469 ... lol :) Ya, I have ZERO faith in Regressives, but I hold out hope for moderates to re-take their party again! At some point, they are going to realize that staying silent is absolutely NOT going to protect them, so they are going to have to stand on principals eventually. There are most certainly MANY Democrats who hold the values in which this country and the Western World were founded, but they need to rise up in unity against the tyranny of Marxist Regressives. I have no doubt that there are such groups having "secret" meetings and looking to make a united front against the current path of the Democratic party.
