  86.  @shadowninja569  ... It is interesting, the era in which we now live. It is exceptionally rare, when a person is praised for a thing or action and one does not come right behind with something negative to say about him / her. I have heard that Chris has some less than ideal moments, in his career, but then... haven't we all? Not seeking to make excuses, but that the standard so many hold is that the capital one EARNED, is completely discarded and then usurped by that negative thing. I am not talking about a person who lived a good life and one day went on a shooting spree or killed a family member. I am talking about people who do real good in this world for quite some time, but then make a bad or even very poor decision and fall well short of that goal they normally achieve. . I am not attacking you, Razgriz, but rather this is a common theme we see far too much of in the last number of years. There is not ONE SINGLE ADULT on this earth, who has been a good person of high moral character, who did not COMPLETELY and utterly fail on that front at some point. What I am asking is that we not judge THAT person solely upon that one lapse of judgement and look more on the totality. Again, this is not to say we should look at Adolph Hitler the aspiring artist when he was a child to excuse away his truly evil behavior some 25 years later, but to keep it all in perspective. Take Chris to task for those poor decisions, but not be so quick to define his entire existence by them. . Peace, RR 🐱

  165. Ā @funstuffonthenet5573Ā  ... Yes, of course. That line, is an exact quote of what feminists would tell young girls, back in the early 70's. There was this HUGE push to get women to enter work force and "compete" with the men to have those jobs to break the traditional considerations of "have children and be supported by a husband". Those feminists would say that this is being subservient to males and disrespectful / oppressive / misogynist, so they can climb the corporate ladder, not get married AND be a mother, if they chose. . There was this idea that "men have it all", because the were seen as creating a "glass ceiling" in work places, have children AND make plenty of money, while the wives were kept to clean the home, raise the kids, make him dinner when he got home and to share herself, whenever he desired. No question, that men need to take a larger roll in taking are of those things, but feminists told women, and are MUCH more influential on social media, that "women don't need no man". Well, if they want to raise a healthy, well-balanced child with values that work in the traditional West... they MUST have the burden of sole income lifted. . We can see where all of this has taken women... to OF and far, far, far too many racking up a body count until 30+ years old and THEN deciding that a child would be nice. Well, her disposition has led her to this place and now finding out that they cannot act like the most juvenile of males for 10+ years and THEN easily create a traditional nuclear family, as the fairy tales all suggest.

  209.  @drockopotamus1  ..... Thank you for a well thought out and considerate response.. 🐈bonk. The reason I mentioned zero solutions, is that it is easy to call out somebody, thing or policy for failing, but that is not offering anything in the counter that would be preferable. That person is and should not be required to provide some alternative, but it makes a far better argument to provide what one considers a solution or at least a better direction, then support it with something. I welcome push back and engagement, but it taxes me when one takes a "this or that does not work, so do better" kind of position. . As for abortion push back, there are some with very harsh restrictions by very few on the right, but there no more than we have seen on the left. We saw a row of 4 leading women in the field of medicine on the Senate floor, who would flat deny ANY "line" of when abortion would be unacceptable. They were each posed the question multiple times and each time, obfuscated the reply. I felt some balance to that was necessary, so I felt the need to elaborate on it. . I do agree that extremes, especially when argued with such MASSIVE gulf between their positions, serves no purpose whatever. It brings me back to the horrible daytime talk shows who seek the most opposing points of view and sets them upon each other for the camera. My biggest issue with those who disagree, is the failure on one or both of their parts to do so in good faith. For if even ONE of them is not doing so, the entire discussion is a complete waste. I have always sought to engage with ANYONE on ANY subject, but when it comes to the prevailing ideology we see that has captured the universities, for example... good faith takes a back seat. When this happens, there IS no reaching any agreement, unless one of them 100% abandons his / her position.

  256. @Dixie Normous .... Matt does not agree with the idea that one can become a woman, because they take hormone or get surgery. That does not make him a bigot, it simply means he does not agree with your definition of woman. . As for your question to @Steve Lozevski .... I will answer that :) Personally, I don't care what ANYONE does to their body, so long as that person is a legal adult that consented to a medical procedure to undergo ANY degree of transition. There are parents who have the right to make decisions on puberty blockers, should their child be diagnosed with rapid onset puberty and is causing developmental issues, but NOT to provide them or T / E for the explicit desire of transition of their child. . This is called "informed consent" and for a child to be provided medical intervention for transition is an act of barbarism, so far as I am concerned. How about we let thes people get past puberty and ACTUALLY figure out for themselves what he / she wants to do with their life? . What if this child is simply LGB or Q and some over-zealous "gender affirmation" doctor / therapist decides they are are ACTUALLY trans? What about tom-boy females or effeminate males who would turn out completely straight, yet get diagnosed as trans? . Those of you who support transition for sub-18 yo's are doing a MASSIVE disservice to these people. Life is hard... it is difficult... but those are the things that create character and strength. If I just put you on a helicopter and placed you atop Mt. Everest.... would you feel the exhilaration of climbing it? Why do you think Simone Biles stands so proud upon the podium with that gold medal? . They went through the struggle and hard work to EARN that position. Allow people to take the journey of their own and reach that mountain top or podium and decide.... I am L or G or B or Q or yes... T. . The question is not why I or anyone is concerned with someone getting surgery... but why are you so eager that they do so?

  314. Ā @paradisecityX0Ā  ... DeSantis is by LIGHT-YEARS the greatest governor in America without any question at all. That said, the fed is so COMPLETELY F'd up right now, if we are to make any headway in to blowing it up, Trump has zero to lose, because he has no political aspirations afterword. While DeSantis would be light-years better at negotiating with Dem's, they have made it quite clear, that ANYONE on the GOP side of the isle will be Hitler 2.0. . I just don't see them working with DeSantis, any better than anyone else on the GOP ticket, so I think he is best off to remain in FL and be the inspiration of other states that are red. The one MASSIVE advantage of not giving an F, as well as the monumental pride boost, should he make POTUS after all they have done to him, would make him an unstoppable force. . Trump has MANY flaws and what he needs more than anything else, is a right-hand man, who he LISTENS to and turns to that person about 250 times a day and before he lets his thumbs do the talking. If he were to TOTALLY clean house and go with a new admin, as was a catastrophic failure last time, he has the opportunity to blow up that place, but he NEEDS the houses and SCOTUS to get it done.Ā  . Unless he finds that right-hand man and LISTENS to him, there is a slim chance he can make enough changes to shut down the MarxistCrats pure EVIL. In the end, so long as so much of society is hell bent on raising the West to the ground, in the end... all Trump could possibly do, is lay some ground work and conservatives need to STOP COMPLYING and make the cult EXTREMELY unwelcome.
