Last week, I had a comment deleted because I wrote the most blasphemous of ALL things one could EVER POSSIBLY SAY... "there are only too genders". I just wrote that now, as I had to re-write it on that thread to get past the censorship minions, as I originally used the number "2" in place of too. If this admin is successful in getting 13 SCOTUS, they will immediately go after 1a under the guise of "making hate speech illegal" and 2a for a national gun registry. Care to take a guess what was one of the first things Nazi Germany did....? enact a national gun registry. When it was time, they just simply sent Storm Troopers to knock on every door of the people who did not "voluntarily" turn in their weapons.

If we end up with 13 SCOTUS and do as I proposed, I can virtually guarantee a full-on civil war and hostile takeover of our government. Fortunately, people are finally starting to wake up and pushing back. I am sorry that one of my favorite people faced the wrath that is leftist government and paid for it dearly (still does) Jordan B. Peterson.

Hypothetical question: You are a doctor. You went to 10+ years of grueling internship, education and have probably $100K or so in financial debt or bills paid to become specialized in let's say brain surgery. Now, how the state comes along and say .."OK, Mr. / Ms. Nivididim, we will pay you $1200 to operate on car accident brain damaged man here". Since there is not a single person in the world, willing to go though ALL of the work it takes to be THAT brain surgeon, only to live in a 2 bedroom apt, so as to live under that debt and survive, exactly how many people would do such a thing? Ya... zero.

We might ask, then make the education much less expensive to save all that debt.... same exact problem. Someone had to TEACH all that education and he / she is not going to be rewarded for all of the work it took to become that teacher.

Nobody wants to see someone sick and unable to get health care they need, but in order to provide TRUE healthcare... we must enslave some to provide for the many. No sane person on earth, whether a Christian or not, can or will provide such care for any length of time.

Today, 9-27-19 is the first I have heard of this incident.
Lowry was looking to save the ball from going out of bounds and retain control of it for his team, obviously. My issue, and has no doubt been expressed by others, is the disregard for people that were to be physically impacted by his actions. Running at a significant pace and leaping directly into the bodies of multiple players, IS going to get a negative reaction. Especially, since these were players on the opposing team.
This is not only sports, but the NBA finals, so fair to say there is a bit of testosterone involved here..... OK, about 30 tons of it! The player needs to recognize that in saving the ball, he hurled himself directly into the opposing players bench and that WILL piss them off. It is reasonable to think that someone could easily get hurt, break a finger, maybe a broken nose by an elbow that comes flying from any one of several people. That being said, those players know that they would very likely do the exact same thing, regardless of which teams bench they happen to interact.
If testosterone were not a factor here, this whole situation would have been much, much less heated. Lowry needs to accept that those players are going to be pissed off and the players need to understand they would do the same thing themselves. It was not the best idea for the owner to push / shove Lowry, but this was the testosterone speaking and more or less and instinctive reaction to the event. None of this acceptance is going to happen right then, but cooler heads need to prevail here.
The league should have waited until after the game and approached all persons involved. A press conference should have been held where all people get to speak there peace and gotten it out of their systems. The VERY likely outcome would be that everyone would have come to understand that it is just "part of the game" and let it go. Lowry would have probably apologized, to some degree, for his actions and the owner would have likely done the same.
Testosterone is the intangible ingredient here, but CANNOT be discounted. It is the motivation for 95% of the entire event.
