  1. "Disproportionate force". Oh, like staging a surprise onslaught of 1K+ missiles and invading the citizenry and killing as many as possible? What exactly is a "proportional response"? Hamas KEEPS the Palestinians in the state they are in, for the last 15+ years and was 1000% aware, that Israel was going to retaliate, via artillery into Gaza strip. Israel even warned them to get out, which is light-years beyond the warning Israel had. It sucks that Palestinian people are in the middle of all this, but it is Hamas and other extremists that keep them there. Sooner or later, someone is going to go full WMD and God help us then.
